By creating an account or using Al-Māʾidah ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. What the App provides

Al-Māʾidah is an Islamic-inspired nutrition tracking and meal planning tool. It provides Sunnah food information and Hadith references, AI-generated recipe suggestions, personal calorie and macro tracking tools, and social features including groups and community recipe sharing.

3. Not medical advice

The nutritional information, calorie estimates, and health content in the App are for general informational purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional medical, dietary, or health advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making significant changes to your diet.

4. Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
• You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.

5. User-generated content

You may upload recipes and post content in groups. By doing so you confirm the content is your own or you have permission to share it, it does not violate any law, and it is appropriate and respectful.

6. Prohibited uses

You may not harass or harm other users, attempt unauthorised access to the App, scrape or redistribute App content without permission, or attempt to circumvent AI usage limits or paid features.

7. Premium features

Some features require a paid subscription. Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Al-Māʾidah shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
