Boiled Meat Forearm

Ingredients
- 1 whole forearm (lamb or mutton, bone-in)
- Salt, to taste
- Water, enough to cover the meat
- Black pepper, optional
Method
Step 1 — Prepare the meat: Rinse the forearm under cold water. Pat it dry and rub lightly with salt (and black pepper if using). Step 2 — Boil the meat: Place the forearm in a large pot. Add enough water to fully cover the meat. Bring to a boil over high heat. Step 3 — Simmer: Once boiling, reduce the heat to low. Cover and simmer gently for 2–3 hours until the meat is tender and starts to pull away from the bone. Check occasionally and skim off any foam or impurities from the surface.
