Balanced Sleep Routine

The Prophet (ﷺ) would sleep early after Isha prayer and rise for Fajr — establishing a disciplined sleep cycle aligned with natural light. He disliked staying awake unnecessarily after Isha and encouraged an early start to the day. He also slept on his right side, which Ibn al-Qayyim noted is the most beneficial posture for the heart and digestion. This Prophetic sleep pattern — early to bed, early to rise, right-side sleeping — is a simple Sunnah with profound health benefits.

"The Prophet (ﷺ) disliked sleep before Isha and idle talk after it."
